Aloha from the Berlinale!
again a year later and now it's finally here, the next and 60th Berlinale. The plan was that I had to run this Jubliläum their own film there, but 1 always have to change and 2 than you think. Instead, I'm in a different mission, but with an equally cinephile crew here to explore the highs and lows of the film festival from a theoretical perspective! Let's go:
first Film to warm up: gravity, with a battle-tested Jürgel bird as ex-con and his would-be apprentice Fabian Hinrichs and a charming Nora forest sites as Snow White on the way to Iceland. Surprisingly funny story of one who moves out the intrusion to learn. Runs may soon on TV (or was it? Anyway here was the film in the German Cinema section ).
